Polaris, also known as The Polaris Process, is operated by Baysix, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. "Polaris," "we," "us," and "our" mean Baysix, LLC as the program operator. These Terms describe the conditions for using our website and enrolling in our coaching program.
Eligibility and enrollment
Enrollment is available to United States residents age 18 or older. You must provide accurate information and be able to enter into a binding agreement.
Your enrollment confirmation identifies your cohort, scheduled start date, price, and included services. The program includes group coaching, assigned exercises, the Blueprint and Gameplan documents, and the included individual coaching session with Michael Schwalbe, as described at enrollment.
The price and any approved discount are shown before payment. Payments are processed through Stripe. A place in a cohort is confirmed through our enrollment process; payment does not entitle you to services beyond those included in your enrollment.
The nature of coaching
Polaris provides career exploration, education, and coaching. It does not provide psychotherapy, medical treatment, legal advice, tax advice, or investment advice, and it does not establish a relationship with a licensed professional in those fields.
You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions. We do not promise a particular job, promotion, income level, or career outcome. Participant experiences and results vary. Our Satisfaction Guarantee Policy provides a specific refund commitment subject to its participation and submission requirements.
Cancellation before the program
You may cancel your enrollment for a full refund if we receive your written cancellation request at least seven calendar days before your original cohort's scheduled start date. Send the request to chris@chrisvillar.com.
After that deadline, cancellation does not qualify for a refund under this cancellation policy. This does not limit a qualifying request under the Satisfaction Guarantee Policy, your refund option if Polaris cancels or delays your cohort, or any non-waivable right under applicable law.
One-time deferral
Before your original cohort begins, you may request one deferral to a cohort scheduled to begin within six calendar months after your original cohort's scheduled start date. Email chris@chrisvillar.com before the program starts so we can arrange and confirm the transfer.
Your program payment will be applied to the confirmed replacement cohort. The six-month window is measured from the original scheduled start date, and only one participant-requested deferral is available. A deferral does not restart the original cancellation refund window.
Deferrals must be arranged before the program begins. Once your cohort has started, you cannot defer under this provision.
Withdrawal and missed sessions
If you withdraw after the program begins, you forfeit your program payment and do not receive a refund under the withdrawal policy. The separate refund rights described above remain applicable where their requirements are met.
Missed group sessions cannot be made up. A recording may not exist or be available, and you should not rely on recordings as a substitute for attendance. Missing a group session also affects eligibility under the Satisfaction Guarantee Policy, which requires attendance at every group coaching session.
You may reschedule your included individual coaching session with Michael once, subject to mutual availability. Contact us before the appointment to arrange a replacement time. Rescheduling that appointment does not make up a missed group session.
If Polaris cancels or delays a cohort
If we cancel or delay your cohort, you may choose either a full refund or a transfer to an upcoming cohort of your choosing. Contact us so we can confirm your selection and arrange the refund or transfer.
A transfer resulting from a Polaris cancellation or delay does not use your one participant-requested deferral and is not subject to its six-month window.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method for the full program amount actually paid. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post a refund. The separate Satisfaction Guarantee Policy specifies its own review and refund deadlines.
Participation and confidentiality
Please arrive on time, stay through the completion of group sessions, participate respectfully, and complete assigned work. The Satisfaction Guarantee Policy specifies which participation requirements must be met to qualify for its refund.
Respect the privacy of other participants. Do not disclose another participant's personal information or identifiable stories outside the program without their permission. Do not record, transcribe, photograph, or distribute sessions or other participants' contributions without authorization from Polaris and any consent required from the people involved.
We ask all participants to preserve confidentiality, but group coaching is not a legally privileged setting and we cannot guarantee that every participant will keep information confidential.
Recordings and transcription by Polaris
Polaris may record or transcribe group sessions for program delivery, administration, facilitator review, and improvement. We will provide advance notice and obtain consent required by applicable law before recording or transcribing. These Terms do not replace that notice and consent process.
Access to recordings and transcripts will be limited to authorized people and providers supporting those purposes. We will seek separate permission before publicly distributing identifiable recordings or using them in advertising or testimonials. We do not promise to record every session or provide recordings to participants.
Contact us before a session if you have concerns about recording or transcription. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle related personal information.
Materials and your submissions
Program materials, including exercises, templates, and other content, belong to their respective owners or licensors. You may use materials provided to you for your own participation and personal career planning. You may not reproduce, publish, sell, or use them to deliver another program without the appropriate owner's written permission.
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You authorize us to use it as reasonably needed to deliver, administer, and improve your program experience. This does not authorize us to publish your identifiable submissions as testimonials or advertising without separate permission.
Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information. Some features rely on third-party providers, including payment, scheduling, collaboration, and communication services. Their own terms may apply when you use their services directly.
Questions, changes, and applicable rights
Email chris@chrisvillar.com with questions, concerns, cancellation requests, or scheduling requests.
We may update these Terms for future enrollments. The enrollment and refund terms presented and agreed to when you purchase govern your enrollment; a later website update will not retroactively reduce those rights. Any agreed change to an existing enrollment will be communicated directly.
Nothing in these Terms limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or restrict. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Polaris, also known as The Polaris Process, is operated by Baysix, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. In this policy, "Polaris," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Baysix, LLC and the people authorized to provide and support the Polaris program.
This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website, assessments, inquiries, bookings, payments, and coaching programs. Our programs are offered to United States residents age 18 or older.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with Polaris, we may collect:
Contact and enrollment information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, location, and selected cohort.
Information you provide in assessments, orientation work, surveys, weekly exercises, coaching conversations, and your Blueprint and Gameplan documents. This may include information about your work, career goals, interests, preferences, and personal experiences.
Communications with us, including questions, scheduling requests, feedback, concerns, and refund requests.
Booking and transaction information, including appointment details, purchase amount, discounts, payment status, and refund status. Stripe processes payments; we do not receive your complete payment card details through Stripe checkout.
Session recordings or transcripts when a session is recorded or transcribed following the notice and consent process described below.
Website and device information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring sources, interactions with the website, and cookie or advertising identifiers, depending on the technologies enabled.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries; administer assessments and enrollment; schedule and deliver coaching; process payments and refunds; review satisfaction guarantee eligibility; communicate about the program; improve our services; protect our systems; and meet legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
We may also use contact information and website interaction information to communicate about Polaris offerings and measure or support our advertising. You can ask us to stop marketing emails as described below.
We do not use the content of your coaching submissions, session recordings, or transcripts to target advertising, and we do not send that content to advertising platforms.
Service providers and other disclosures
We use service providers and tools to operate Polaris. These include Google Workspace for communication and document collaboration, Notion for program organization and records, Stripe for payments, Calendly for scheduling, Netlify for website hosting, and internally developed software. Other providers may support email, analytics, advertising, recording, transcription, or related program operations as those services are enabled.
We disclose information to providers and authorized people as needed for those purposes. When you interact directly with a third-party service, its own privacy terms may also apply.
Group coaching involves sharing information with other participants. Your name, voice, image, and anything you choose to share during a group session may be visible or audible to the cohort. We require participants to respect one another's confidentiality, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of other participants. Contact us before sharing information you are unsure about disclosing in a group setting.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or carry out a business transaction such as a sale or reorganization, subject to applicable protections. We may also disclose information with your separate permission.
Recordings and transcripts
We may record or transcribe group sessions for program delivery, administration, facilitator review, and improvement. Before doing so, we will give participants notice and obtain consent required by applicable law. A general reference to recording in our Terms does not replace that process.
Recordings and transcripts may contain names, voices, images, chat messages, and information participants share. Access will be limited to authorized people and providers supporting the stated purposes. We will seek separate permission before publicly distributing identifiable recordings or using them in advertising or testimonials.
Recording every session, providing a recording to participants, and making a recording available as a substitute for attendance are not included promises of the program. If you have a recording or transcription concern, contact us before the session so we can discuss it.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Our v2 website analytics use a random anonymous browser identifier stored for up to 90 days. It connects website activity across visits in the same browser; it does not connect different browsers or devices. Our recorded PostHog analytics contain approved page paths and interaction fields, excluding your contact details, assessment answers, scores, private results links, raw IP address and raw user-agent. Like other online services, PostHog receives network connection information when requests reach its servers; our events use a fixed placeholder to prevent storing your IP address. An optional first-party cookie allows confirmed bookings and purchases to be linked to an active analytics choice when server measurement is enabled.
On our v2 staging website, a first-party visitor cookie helps preserve how you arrived while you browse or return using the same browser. Its lifetime is up to 90 days from the last recorded visit. We retain bounded source tags, referring website names, and page paths; if you submit a form, its record may include this source history. The cookie does not connect different browsers or devices. Browser restrictions or clearing cookies can interrupt that history.
We may use cookies, tracking pixels, and similar technologies for website functionality, analytics, and advertising. Depending on the tools enabled, third parties may collect information about your activity on our website and across other websites or services over time. This information may support advertising measurement or personalized advertising.
Our U.S.-focused v2 website uses the Meta Pixel to measure page visits, accepted newsletter signups and contact requests, accepted assessment completions, completed consultation bookings, checkout visits, and confirmed purchases unless you turn off advertising measurement or a browser privacy signal prevents it. Meta may receive your browser and device information, IP address, advertising identifiers, eligible page and referring URLs, event type, and confirmed purchase amount and currency. We do not supply form answers, assessment scores, private results links, names, email addresses, messages, booking identifiers, or payment session identifiers to the Pixel. Meta's own privacy terms apply to its processing.
Disclosures to advertising providers may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or processing for targeted advertising under some privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. The rights and obligations that apply depend on the law and our actual practices.
You can manage cookies through your browser and use privacy controls offered by applicable advertising providers. Where available, website privacy controls provide additional choices. Blocking cookies or other technologies may affect some features, and browser controls do not necessarily stop every form of tracking.
Our website analytics, source history, and Meta Pixel respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Advertising measurement is on by default. You can turn it off using the separate advertising checkbox below and save your choice for this browser. These choices do not control every third-party service used on the website; individual services may respond differently. Contact us if you need information about which tracking technologies are enabled or how a preference applies.
This choice applies to Polaris website analytics and persistent source history in this browser. Turning it off stops future analytics and history capture, removes the anonymous analytics identifier, and requests removal of the visitor cookie and revocation of server analytics permission. Server permission is revoked when our server acknowledges the request. If the request fails, this browser retains a retry marker for up to one day; events already sent cannot be recalled. Turning analytics back on creates a new anonymous identifier. Forms still work and may record the source visible on the page you submit; saved submissions are retained.
Advertising is a separate choice and is on by default. Uncheck this box and save to stop future Pixel event calls from this page and browser; information already sent cannot be recalled. A saved off choice stays off on later visits in this browser unless you change it or clear your browser storage. Browser privacy signals can keep tracking off even when this box is checked. Browser choices do not remove information already held by providers or control other third-party tools.
Your choices and requests
You may email chris@chrisvillar.com to ask about our handling of your information or request access, correction, or deletion. We will review requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Certain records may need to be retained for an ongoing service, a payment or refund, accounting, security, or a legal obligation.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the instructions in the message or by emailing us. We may still send necessary service messages, such as scheduling updates, payment confirmations, and refund communications. Unsubscribing from email does not by itself change website advertising or tracking settings.
California residents can contact us using the same email address with questions or requests concerning their personal information. This policy does not limit rights available under applicable California law or other applicable United States law. The availability of particular statutory rights depends on whether the relevant law applies.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, considering the nature of the information, program administration, legal obligations, and resolution of disputes. Different categories of information may have different retention periods.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Polaris programs are for adults age 18 or older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. We will post the revised version with an updated date and provide additional notice when required by law.
For privacy questions or requests, contact Baysix, LLC, operator of Polaris, at chris@chrisvillar.com.

We aim to provide clear content, usable navigation, readable layouts, and access to the information and services needed to explore and participate in Polaris. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA, provide a reference for our website accessibility efforts. This is a working accessibility goal, not a certification of conformance.
Our website uses third-party services for some functions, including scheduling and payment. If a website feature or third-party service creates a barrier, please contact us so we can discuss another way to help you complete the task.
Have difficulty accessing a page, document, form, booking tool, or payment feature.
Need information in another format.
Want to discuss an accommodation for a group session, individual coaching session, or program exercise.
Where practical, include the page or task involved, a description of the difficulty, and the best way to contact you. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis to report a website barrier or begin a conversation about assistance.
We will review your request and work with you to identify an appropriate way to provide access or assistance. Please contact us before enrollment or a scheduled session when possible so there is time to discuss arrangements.

Polaris, operated by Baysix, LLC, offers a full refund of your program payment if you meet every requirement below, complete the program, and remain dissatisfied with your experience.
This guarantee is conditional on participation and a timely written request. It guarantees the refund described in this policy, not a particular job, income level, or career outcome.
Eligibility requirements
To qualify, you must:
Complete orientation. Submit all assigned orientation work and the pre-program survey by their assigned deadlines.
Attend every group coaching session. Arrive on time, remain through the end of each session, and actively participate. A missed session or viewing a recording does not satisfy this attendance requirement.
Complete all weekly pre-work. Complete the assigned pre-work before the start of each corresponding session.
Attend your individual coaching session. Attend the included 1:1 session with Michael Schwalbe.
Complete your program documents. Complete the Blueprint and Gameplan documents by the end of the program.
Raise concerns and work toward resolution. Communicate your concerns to Michael no later than Session 8 and actively engage with him in good faith to work toward resolving them before the program ends. Your concerns do not have to be resolved to qualify, but you must participate in the effort to address them.
Submit a timely refund request. Email your formal written request to chris@chrisvillar.com within seven calendar days after your cohort's final group coaching session. Include your name, cohort, and a detailed statement explaining why you remain dissatisfied.
Review and determination
We will review your request to verify that you have met these requirements. This may include reviewing attendance, submitted work, completion of the included 1:1, and communications about your concerns. We may contact you for clarification.
If you have met every requirement and remain dissatisfied, we will approve your request for a full refund. Our review verifies eligibility; it does not substitute our assessment of the program for your personal assessment of your satisfaction.
We will notify you of our determination in writing within 30 calendar days after receiving your written refund request. If we determine that you are ineligible, we will identify the requirement or requirements that were not met.
Refund amount and timing
If your request is approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method for 100% of the amount you originally paid for the program within seven calendar days after our determination. If you used a discount, the refund equals the amount actually paid.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Other refund rights
This guarantee is separate from the cancellation policy and your refund option if Polaris cancels or delays a cohort. Those provisions are described in the Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable law.
For questions about the guarantee or to submit a request, email chris@chrisvillar.com.
